Practice being observant & reflective. Don't be one that let's situations go by with no thought or reflection. You should always think through situations and why they happened the way they did. What did you do (or not do) that contributed to the (good or bad) outcome?
It's coming to the end of the year and I thought I'd share some different perspectives that have helped me find joy in my life. Obviously, I have my days—but these are a few ways I'm able to restart my outlook on life every morning that God blesses me with:
Imagine what it'd be like to only be able to speak to God during specific times throughout the day, or even the week. What if God only allowed our prayers to be heard on Tuesdays from 4–4:15pm? That any other time you'd call to Him or ask for guidance, He wouldn't be listening.
Today, I was asked on Twitter: "Do you have any advice for feeling alone even though you have a group of friends? I struggle with that at uni, its a long story." It spoke to me because I had that feeling for a long time growing up, especially in my college years. I had friends around all the time.
We looked at a weather map & just chose a state with warm(ish) temperatures considering it was the end of December. We landed on Arizona! I'd been dying to see the US southwest ever since I saw pics of my friend in New Mexico. I really just wanted to see a huge cactus honestly...
As usual, a whole lot of Zara. On the plus side, a lot of their pieces are on sale. But yeah, I found a bunch of sweaters & shirts with bell sleeves which I love—something I've incorporated a lot into my line.
Well damn. 2016 went out QUICK. It was definitely a year of change for me, mostly with my career and life goals. I'm literally nowhere near where I thought I wanted to be in the beginning of 2016—in a good way though alhamdulillah.
