Something I read more into recently was the idea of free-will in Islam. That concept never crossed my mind because I just assumed all creations of God were like us, born with the ability to choose between right and wrong. But I discovered the fact that angels don't have that right. That God created them strictly to praise, they literally don't know anything different from it. I always knew that angels were created with light & we humans out of clay—but I didn't know there was any other difference in how we are able to think and act. Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I love Him. I feel like God gave us free-will because He wants us to to love Him because we truly and full-heartedly love Him, not just because we were created to. Maybe He wants to know that the love is real. Are we going to stray away from Him or appreciate how much He loves us? I feel as though with the choice to not love Him, choosing to love Him makes the love so much more meaningful.
As humans, we are blessed.
