Vanilla-Mint Arabic Tea Recipe

A few weeks ago, I got my wisdom teeth removed & thank God they've healed over really well, but I occasionally feel soreness in the back of my throat because of it. So I've been drinking tea a lot more than I usually do, just to ease the soreness a bit. I've had this style of tea that I've been making for years now. It really came from me just finding things we had around the house and throwing it in. It's essentially Arabic tea with mint and vanilla creamer—it's amazing y'all 😭 I thought I'd share it with y'all now that Fall is coming up & the weather is starting to cool. I love just waking up when it's cold out and making myself a cup.

+ Black Tea
+ Boiled water
+ Sugar
+ Fresh mint leaves
+ Vanilla Creamer

1) Boil water and pour it into your mug. Fill it up to a little below what you would consider a full mug. Drop the tea bag in there alongside a few mint leaves & let it sit for about 5 minutes.

2) Take out the tea bag & mix in about a teaspoon of sugar. Add more if you'd like, I usually put 1.5 teaspoons max—too much sugar will overpower the mint.

3) Pour in the vanilla creamer until the cup is 'full,' & mix it. It should be a light beige color.

Thats it! If I'm making it for a group of people, I do the tea bag & mint leaves step all in the tea pot—pour it into the mugs and do the sugar + vanilla creamer step individually.

Let me know how it goes if you try it out!
Take care y'all, God bless! 🤗🙌🏼
